Findi Screen is a streaming discovery app. This policy explains what information the app handles. The short version: Findi Screen has no accounts, and does not sell or share your personal information.
Your selected streaming services, your watchlist and custom lists, and your remaining free AI-search allowance are stored only on your device. Deleting the app (or using “Reset app data” in Settings) removes them. We do not have a copy.
To show catalogs, availability, and search results, the app sends requests to our server. These requests include the content of your request (for example, a search query or the services you selected, so results can be filtered to them) and, like all internet traffic, your IP address. We do not build profiles from this data.
When you use the AI Finder, the description you type is sent to our server and processed with OpenAI’s API to find matching titles. Prompts are used only to answer your search; we do not store them, and under OpenAI’s API terms they are not used to train models. No other AI provider receives your prompt. Before you first use AI Finder, the app discloses that your prompt leaves your device for this processing. Continuing means you agree to that. You can turn AI Finder off anytime in Settings — with it off, nothing you type for AI Finder ever leaves your device. To clear on-device data related to it (including remaining free AI-search allowance), use Settings → “Reset app data,” or delete the app. There is no account to delete — we never collect your name or email for AI Finder. If we ever change AI providers, we update this page first; the same first-use disclosure and Settings off control continue to apply, and the app asks for your permission again before prompts go to a new provider.
Streaming availability, artwork, and service logos are provided by the Streaming Availability API (Movie of the Night). Ratings are provided by OMDb. These providers receive our server’s requests, not your identity.
Findi Screen Pro subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases; it processes your purchase receipt and a random app-generated identifier — not your name, email, or payment information.
Playing a title opens the streaming service’s own app or website. From that point, that service’s privacy policy applies.
Findi Screen is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
