The short version: your body data stays on your phone. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, no ads.
Everything you log: workouts, sets, weights, weekly reviews, progress, and your plan. It is stored locally in the app and never uploaded. If you enable Apple Health sync, workout, sleep, heart rate, and step data are exchanged with Apple Health on your device under Apple’s permission controls; we never receive that data.
When you use AI features (onboarding parsing, coach chat, weekly review notes), the text you type and your plan settings are sent to our coach service to generate a response. Requests carry no account, device, or advertising identifier of any kind. We do not sell, share, or use this data for advertising, and it is not stored beyond a short response cache.
Our coach service passes that text to one third-party AI provider, OpenAI, which generates the response. No other AI provider receives it. Only what you type and your plan settings are sent — never your logged workouts, weights, Apple Health data, name, or email. Under OpenAI’s API terms, this text is not used to train their models. If we ever change AI providers, this page is updated first and the app asks for your permission again.
Your training plan itself is built by our own deterministic engine on your device, not by AI. The AI layer only interprets what you write and explains what the engine decided.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Health sync and notifications are off until you turn them on. AI features are off until you agree to them on first launch, and you can turn them off again at any time in Settings → Privacy & AI — with them off, nothing you type ever leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes your local data.
